Olive oil comes from the olive tree. Can you think of any stories that include olive trees in the Bible? What about settings where olive trees were located? How does the olive tree illustrate God’s story?
Do you think it’s significant that the oil comes from that particular tree?
Olive oil, wine, and bread all play an important role in God’s story. Consider how each of them are made, starting at harvest. How are their processes similar? How do they give glory to Jesus?
