STARS

...and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Daniel 12:3

Engage in Wonder

Do you think God knew many would make up constellations and stories from the stars? Do you think he had his own stories in mind when he placed them in their specific places?

What would Biblical writers have believed about the stars? What would their night have looked like & how would they have used the stars functionally?

How do the stars function like a compass for finding our direction?
Why would God chose both sand & stars to illustrate his promise to Abraham?

If you enjoy word studies, a different Hebrew word is used for “stars” in a similar promise in Jeremiah 33:22 as it is in Genesis.

Testimony: Share your story about a time your faith was tested to believe a promise from God like it was for Abraham.
