Finding Treasure in the One True Fairy Tale
All things were created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16
About

“Aslan" said Lucy "you're bigger".
"That is because you are older, little one" answered he.
"Not because you are?"
"I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.”
― C.S. Lewis, Prince Caspian
God made everything through and for His son Jesus. Everything around us has a purpose and tells a BIG story. You might say, we’re living in a real life storybook, the one true fairy tale, with all of creation as the pictures to engage us in His story – the Word of God. It’s God’s story and it’s filled with wonder.
Story of Wonder (SOW) engages community groups and families in the exploration of God's Word through the illustrations of his creation and the stories he's written on our hearts. Our hope is to awaken childlike imagination and intellectual curiosity, learning to enjoy God, think outside of the box, and grow in awe and reverence as we ponder our wonder-filled Creator. As we step into God's story, there are a few guidelines to always keep in mind:
1) God’s creation should only support and illuminate the truth given to us in Scripture. It will never contradict the written word of God.
2) Wonder is different than facts. God’s story is an endless exploration filled with mystery, much of which we will never understand. But, He gave us curious minds and passion to explore.
3) God’s creation will always glorify God (Father, Son, and Spirit) and lead us to greater worship and surrender to our Lord Jesus.
