SUN

"...I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
Revelation 22:16

Engage in Wonder

Imagine not knowing anything about the solar system or the earth's orbit around the sun.

How would your thoughts be different regarding the sun?
God spoke "light" into creation (day 1) before light "came into the expanse" (day 4).  Can you imagine a creative way to explain this?

Can you think of any living things (animals/plants) that always move in the direction of the sun?

How does the earth change when the sun is up or down?

What do you think God wants us to know about Jesus, the Morning Star, as you ponder the creation of the sun?

Testimony: Share your story about a time when you experienced light illuminating/transforming a place in your heart.
